Auto repair is a pain in any car owner’s behind.  It has to be done in order to keep the car running smoothly, keep the gas mileage from dropping, and keep its occupants safe, but a car can be very expensive to maintain.

3. Buy parts that offer lifetime warranties.  While you will have to cough up the money right now in order to buy the part, this will help you out down the road: Next time the part goes out, the replacement will be free, costing you nothing more than the time and energy spent to install the new part.
4. Use auto repair coupons.  Not everyone has the time and knowledge to work on their cars themselves, particularly as our cars are becoming increasingly more complex.  If you would rather pay to have the work done for you, you can still save money by using auto repair coupons to get discounts on the work.
