Aerial Photography and Other Jobs in the Air
By kathrynv in Careers | 0 comments

Everyone has to learn to stand on their own two feet but there are some people in the world who do that while hanging out in the air. It’s surprising how many jobs involve leaving the ground (or the Earth) as a regular part of the work day.
Here are a few examples of jobs that put you in the air:
- Aerial photography. Soar in to the sky and take photos. Use advanced techniques like photogrammetry to make these pictures useful to other industries.
- Aerial dance. Imagine yourself as part of the Cirque du Soleil cast as you dance and twirl in the air. Acrobats also fall into this category.
- High rise construction workers. Head up to the top of a hundred-story building in equipment like a crane and you’ll feel like you’re flying.
- Pilots. People who fly planes - and the staff that works on those planes - will be spending the bulk of their time in the air.
- Air tour guides. Guides who give tours in hot air balloons, blimps and helicopters are always off the ground.
- Astronauts. Some people aren’t content to just leave the land; they want to leave the Earth entirely.
If you’re the kind of person who would rather fly than walk, start looking at jobs that are going to let you reach for the stars!
