When it comes to tattoos, there are many statistics that are for the most part positive. Whereas tattoos used to be synonymous with antisocial behavior it is now known that approximately forty million individuals in the United States alone have at least one tattoo. Another study shows that less than twenty percent of tattooed individuals regret their decision. This is largely because of adverse reactions to the procedure, although a small percentage admits their regret over making a rash decision. Though different styles of heart tattoos are popular options for men and women, many tattoo artists agree tribal designs tend to be the most sought after pieces.
Because of military actions in recent history, the number of cross tattoos used to memorialize lost loved ones has markedly risen as well. Tattoos have become a very personal way to honor the memory of events in a person’s life as well. It is believed that this is the reason tattoos have become so well accepted by the mainstream. Whereas a tattoo on teachers or other authority figures would have at one time been considered scandalous, it is not uncommon to now see dragon, butterfly and even Celtic tattoos on individuals from all walks of life.

The majority of people work long hours throughout the entire year and only get two weeks off for vacation. However, there are some lucky people out there who get to travel a lot more frequently than just during those two weeks. In order for this to be a viable option for you, you’ll probably need to figure out ways to earn money even while traveling.
Here are some of the options that you have to make money while you travel:
- Find a job that allows you to travel a lot. If you can snag a job that has the perk of frequent business travel then you’ll not only be getting paid as you travel but you’ll also get your travel paid for.
- Get into the wholesale travel business. Look into programs such as Net Trav and Platinum One Destinations that allow you to access wholesale rates for travel and even let you earn some money back each time that you book travel.
- Get good at travel writing. If you can write then you can write about travel. Start a travel blog or put together a proposal for a good travel book and you might find that someone is willing to pay you to travel and write about your experiences.
You’re probably not ever going to just vacation all year without working but since you have to work anyway, you might as well do it from great vacation destinations!

If you want to make a major change to the appearance of a bedroom in your home, your best bet is to start with changing the bedding that you’re using in there. Most people use modern bedding in neutral colors; adding something different like polka dot bedding or animal print bedding can really alter the tone of the room. Of course, you need to make sure that you know how to decorate the room around this so that it looks nice instead of gaudy.
The first thing that you’ll want to do is to look closely at the colors that are used in the bedding. You’ll want to use colors that compliment this in the rest of the room’s decor and incorporate the main colors in subtle ways to tie the room together. For example, let’s say that you get bold blue bedding with red and green polka dots. You would want the bulk of the room to be blue and colors that compliment it (such as white or cream). You would use red and green touches, such as paint trim, to tie the room together.
When making a change like this, you’ll want to keep in mind that there are probably going to be times when you have different bedding in the room. (Every bed has to be laundered, after all.) Choose a second set of bedding only after you have completed the decor of the room. In the example here, you might choose plain blue bedding to go with the decor when you’re not using the polka dot set.
