I have gone apartment hunting in more cities than I care to remember. I suppose that’s the price I pay for having the strong desire to gain world experience by living in as many different places as possible. Because I have done this so many times, I’m familiar with the ins and outs of finding an apartment. That’s why it surprised me when I went to spend three months in South Tampa and found the experience there to be so different from the past.

The thing is that I’ve always felt a lot of pressure when going apartment hunting. That’s probably because I’ve always lived in cities where competition for rentals was intense. Although there are a lot of people who want to live in Florida, there doesn’t seem to be this same kind of competition for South Tampa Rentals. It made the whole experience a lot more relaxing than I expected it to be.

Although I spent a good chunk of time during my first few days in the area looking at South Tampa Apartments for Rent, I didn’t feel like I was constantly running from one apartment to another. In fact, I was able to take breaks between looking at South Tampa Apartments to spend some time on the beach just thinking about what I wanted from my new home. The approach that apartment managers had here was just completely different from the abruptness of the big city. It made me think that I might want to move to another small city again sometime soon!
